I recently upgraded what was supposed to be just for my vlogging system in 2021, but somehow the new camera I ended up with – a Canon EOS M6 Mark II has also become my new go-to camera for both video recordings and photography.
But, of course, the camera body is simply that a body. What makes the camera is the lenses you decide to put on it. Lenses are both inexpensive to may have to sell my soul to the devil prices.
So when I came across this lens company I have never heard of before, 7Artisans I was intrigued.
Especially with this one, 35mm with a huge, super-fast aperture of f/0.95 and it’s been dubbed as a low-light beast! Soon I was looking at photos on Flickr shot on this lens and I was in awe of the photos this lens produced. What surprised me also was the price!
I recently sold a lot of stuff on eBay and so I went ahead and brought it. Once it arrived, I was immediately impressed. This thing is solid! Has a bit of weight to it making the lightweight Canon M6 MarkII a small beast. I had filmed an unboxing for my YouTube, but I have no idea where the footage went. Never mind, unboxings are a tad overrated. Still, I was a little upset. So, I’m just going to post the first photos I took.
Eventually, I will test this baby out in low light conditions, for now, enjoy photos from the garden (and a few random ones inside)!
