Day 1 of 7 – Today let’s start my taking a moment to think about the things you are grateful for.
Too often we can forget to appreciate all that we have all the we receive. Creating a grateful heart helps us create a better outlook at our life. – What three things are you grateful for today? Start off with just three and if you feel like it, continue and start to refocus your mind away from negativity.
Day 2 of 7 – What are you learning about yourself?
This is where a lot of us find it quite difficult when it comes to turning the attention onto ourselves. We get too caught up with all the external things around us, kids need to be fed, laundry is piling up, you have to start preparing dinner, you have to get that project finish and so forth. Take a deep breath and lets see all the wonderful things you are learning about yourself.
Day 3 of 7 – What are you still holding onto from the past? 5 Reason Why We Hold Onto The Past:1. YOU’RE AFRAID OF THE UNKNOWN.2. YOU BELIEVE YOUR PAIN PROTECTS YOU.3. YOU WANT TO PUNISH THE PERPETRATOR.4. IT MAKES YOU FEEL SPECIAL.5. YOU WANT TO FEEL LOVED, SAFE AND CARED FOR.
Day 4 of 7 – Do you have a morning routine? If you did, what would it look like? There is something so magical about the early hours of the morning.The world hasn’t quite woken up yet. Even the house still sleeps.The morning is one of the best times to get yourself ready and prepared for the day! Even of you’re not a morning person…you might just become one?
Day 5 or 7 – What do you want to do more of? And less of?
Some of use want to do anything and everything! But we often get overwhelmed and end up falling into that dreaded state called procrastination. What better way to get clear on what is you truly want to do MORE of and what old habits/behaviours you want to do LESS of
Day 6 of 7 – What do I wish I had done differently this year?
Was there something you started, but you lost your momentum?Did you miss out on a saying ‘yes’ to something you later regret?Or did you simply fell into a rut and didn’t know how to get out of it. Whatever it was, take a moment to let it all out. Let those regrets, sadness, disappointments spill out so you can…let go.Day 7 of 7 – What advice would I give myself right now to prepare me for the year ahead? Too often we get discouraged by dreaming all too “BIG” and as a result we keep ourselves small. We watch others (happily or enviously) around us reach successes we secretly wish we could have ourselves. Now is the time to sit down, grab your favourite flavoured tea, coffee, smoothie or juice and dig deep. Quieten that inner bully and give yourself much needed loving advice.
